It's good to know that at least on of us has a job (see QueenQeeko LJ).

I had a proverbial wake up call tonight, and it all started yesterday evening.

I was talking with SAAM and Heather, about Qeeko not being online... I couldn't understand it why wasn't she there... I waited up till around 4am. But still no sign of her... so I went to bed.

To say the least I was worried, I had no idea where she was and had not a clue why she hadn't come online. I knew if anything had happened to her I wouldn't hear about it... (actually I need to talk to you about that...)

Well, today I kept myself occupied, had to call the jobcentre, but when I did they had no idea why I was calling. Typical...

And now on to tonight, I was sitting around playing on Guild Wars waiting for Qeeko to come online, now MSN has pissed me off many times because it interferes with GW making things all laggy and a black box appears in the bottom right hand corner and the MSn chimes go off when someone is sending you a message.

Today however the one time when I wanted MSN to interfere it didn't.

Then GW crashed, as the system logged me off and the game shut down I saw an orange flashing box on the lower edge of my screen, and as I clicked on it the little pale yellow-y bar at the top popped up saying that the user had gone offline...

That user was Qeeko.

After a brief time of cussing at the screen, now not letting me back on guild wars to drown my sorrows. I got up and walked away.

Now in my room on my mothers laptop, cos my PC has decided to commit sep-ku on me, it stabbed it's self in the hard drive while I cut it's communication relays, I sat and realized while looking at the people on MSN... I'm REALLY not in the mood to talk right now.

So what do I do?

i start looking on line to see if Qeeko has left me a message anywhere, e-mail, UJF, etc... nothing.-

(SHIT!!! just had the fright of my life... I have a glass with ice cubes in... and one of the ice cubes must have moved funny cos a rawr sound came from under my bed...)

- Then I think, gah! LJ!

So I check her LJ and loe and behold Qeeko managed to get herself a job.

This made me think, when am I going to get a job, I keep trying and I keep failing. So from 10:30 to when I started writing this I've been looking for jobs in various medias and industries. What did I turn out?

I am not qualified to push a broom...

Out of 8 Job agencies, i turned up 5 jobs. And I looked all the way through them... the last one turned out 1296 jobs... and I looked through them all!

Must have Previous Game testing experience and must have a DEGREE (yes lady and gents, you hear correctly) in Games Testing. W T F!

Must have 3 years previous Kitchen maintenance and cleaning experience, and must have a Health and Hygiene Certificate...

At the point of seeing that I gave up...

I have 5 jobs written down, I'm going to get a job, a shit job, and I'm going to get Qeeko back over here, and I'm going to go into rented accommodation, then train for 3 years, so that maybe, one day in the future, I can be a potwash!

Good night all you peoples, and fuck you all you employers out there! You the most wretched bunch of low lifes I have ever had the misfortune of knowing about. If Lawyers and Estate agents are the cancer of this world, then you employers must be the cause! And while they're at it, they'll give you AIDS too...

I hate you all.
